Student Services Team Leader

Location: Covent Garden, London  

Salary: Up to £32,640 per annum depending on experience

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 10:00 – 18:00, with flexibility to work until 21:00 to support the needs of the service if required

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Student Services Team Leader to join our dynamic Student Services department. This is a key operational role, responsible for managing a team of Student Services Associates and overseeing the admissions and enrolment processes for long, accredited, and funded courses.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellent service delivery, compliance with funding regulations, and continuous improvement across the department. This includes supporting D/deaf learners, managing credit control for instalment plans, and contributing to outreach and community engagement initiatives.

This role is fully based at our City Lit site.

  • Proven success as a team leader and line manager within a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience managing admissions and enrolment processes, ideally in adult education.
  • Strong knowledge of funding rules and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach to team leadership.
  • Experience supporting D/deaf learners and a willingness to study BSL to at least Level 3.
  • Proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Office and PowerBI.
