We’re looking for an Lettings Coordinator to join our team in Bradford or Peterborough. 

About the role and person:

  • 35 hours per week
  • 12 month Fixed Term Contract 

As an Lettings Coordinator, your role involves:

Your core role and focus is the effective marketing of Accents empty homes (rented) and the successful on-boarding of new customers.  This role forms part of a specialist national lettings team, responsible for advertising homes to let, both directly and in conjunction with Local Authority partners, working within relevant legislative and policy frameworks, to let homes in a fair and transparent way.   

What will your responsibilities be as an Lettings Coordinator?

  • Responsible for the selection and assessing of applicants and home Allocations (incl. transfers, nominations and referrals), the undertaking of affordability and eligibility assessments in accordance with the Accent Group’s Allocations and Lettings Policy.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all work conducted within regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures and operating in line with Accent Group’s Allocations and Lettings Policy while mitigating risk by acting fairly and responsibly. 
  • Responsible for building and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Local Authorities and partners in the promotion and management of empty homes, to ensure Accent is seen as a valued and responsive partner.

Location

The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to our Bradford or Peterborough office. We’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as we meet our customer’s needs.

We’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Should you wish to work occasionally from any of our regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via our online booking system

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £26,250 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
