Independent Living Housing Coordinator

We’re looking for an Independent Living Housing Coordinator to join our Specialist Housing team in Camberley.

About the role and person:

  • Part time, 17.5 hours per week
  • Permanent 

Always motivated to achieve brilliant standards of service, our Independent Living Housing Coordinators are the first point of contact for our customers ensuring issues are resolved in the first instance. You’ll be a visible presence in your scheme, delivering a comprehensive housing management service to ensure customers feel safe and supported to live well and independently for as long as possible. In this role you’ll use your communication and organisational skills to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners and build strong community bonds to make moments that matter every day.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £16,240 per annum (FTE £32,480) for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

What skills/behaviours do you need to be an Independent Living Housing Coordinator?

  • Previous experience of delivering a quality housing management service within a specialist or generic housing context and understanding of the various workstreams relevant to the management of temporary accommodation.
  • Driven to go the extra mile to achieve customer focused solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience and deal positively with change.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy when handling customer data in line with GDPR.
  • Flexible approach to work and a willingness to travel to other schemes if required.

Location

This successful candidate will live within a commutable distance to the scheme in Camberley.

We'll provide you with the equipment and software that you'll need for the purpose of the role.
