Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm with regular travel to Accent sites and offices as required.

About the role
Are you ready to lead a high-performing team and make a real difference in the lives of new homeowners?
We’re looking for a New Build Aftercare Manager to take charge of our Aftercare Service - ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience in the first 12 months of their new home journey. You’ll be the driving force behind resolving building defects quickly and effectively, managing a team that acts as the vital link between customers, contractors, and internal teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the aftercare process for up to 500 new homes per year, ensuring issues are resolved with speed and care.
- Managing a dedicated team, overseeing budgets, and building strong partnerships with contractors and developers.
- Handling complex and high-pressure situations with confidence, empathy, and professionalism.
- Developing and refining reporting processes to drive performance and customer satisfaction.
- Acting as a key decision-maker, ensuring our service reflects the highest standards of quality and accountability.

Salary
The salary for the New Build Aftercare Manager is £49,833 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
This position is eligible for an essential car user allowance starting from £1,250 per annum.
About you
- Thorough understanding of National House Building Council defect definitions.
- Proven experience in customer care and relationship management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in managing projects, including change management and process improvements.
- High level of computer literacy, especially in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility to adapt to job requirements.
