We’re looking for a HR/People Advisor (Assistant Business Partner) to join our People team in Bradford

 About the role and person: 

  • 35 hours
  • 12 month Fixed Term Contract

As our HR/People Advisor (Assistant Business Partner), you’ll work with the Senior People Business Partner to support the delivery of our People Strategy ensuring we are continuously developing and embedding a dynamic, inclusive working environment where colleagues feel valued and can thrive.

You’ll utilise your stakeholder management skills to build robust relationships with leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and coach to oversee the end-to-end colleague experience ensuring all aspects of the colleague journey are managed effectively. With an eye for detail, you'll analyse trends and patterns in HR metrics, addressing the root cause of issues and concerns and implement sustainable solutions.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and you’ll be able to demonstrate how your Employee Relations expertise has positively impacted experiences in previous organisations.        

Salary 

The salary for this post is circa £38,000 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post.

What skills/behaviours do you need to be a HR/People Advisor (Assistant Business Partner)? 

  • Previous experience in an HR/People Advisor role
  • Experience of supporting Senior HR/People Business Partners
  • Strong experience in employee relations matters
  • Strong understanding of UK Employment Law
  • Experience of supporting change initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo appropriately.

Interview dates

  • 1st stage interviews will be on 23rd September via Teams
  • 2nd stage interviews will be on the 30th September at our Bradford office. 

Location 

The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to our Bradford office with a willingness to travel to other sites (Burnley, Peterborough, Stockton). Our People team are visible across the organisation and you’ll be onsite 3 days a week.

We’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage working from home, as long as we meet our customers’ needs.

We’ll provide you with the equipment and software you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.
