About the role
As the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in driving excellence across our financial operations. Leading by example, you’ll coach, motivate, and empower your team to deliver a fast, accurate, and customer-focused service that keeps everything running smoothly.
In this role, you’ll challenge the status quo, champion innovative thinking, and focus on real outcomes—always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to solve problems and streamline processes. Your leadership will be instrumental in supporting the Head of Business Finance and aligning the team’s efforts with our wider corporate goals.

Salary
The spot salary for this post is £34,430 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
About you
You'll be a highly skilled and motivated individual with relevant professional qualifications or substantial experience in a high-volume transactional finance environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills to support data analysis and informed decision-making. Proven leadership capabilities are essential, as is the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively. Excellent communication skills are required, with the flexibility to adapt messaging to suit various audiences. Experience in managing supplier relationships and ensuring adherence to payment terms is crucial. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on delivering value for money will be key to success in this role.
