Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent

Salary: From £14,000 to £16,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Specific Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 6pm)

Apprentice Administrator

The Acorn Group is one of London and Kent’s most successful and ambitious property companies. Incorporating Acorn, Langford Russell and John Payne Estate Agents, we now have 38 offices and 10 Divisions. We are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Administrator to work within or Land and Commercial team at our prestigious New Headquarters in Bromley, Kent.

Our Apprenticeship is offered in conjunction with Learning Curve Group who is a national training and education specialist. They support impactful training and skills strategies that will help us meet core organisational objectives such as performance and output. Each apprentice will work with a specialist trainer towards a nationally recognised qualification and in doing so will gain meaningful experience in our workplace.

The Apprenticeship Standard is Business Administration-Level 3

Key Tasks:

  • Typing and proof reading of work to ensure all documents are completed to a high standard
  • Maintaining up to date and efficient filing systems electronically
  • Using system to log enquiries, documents and file progression
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
  • Taking messages and following up any calls that need to be returned
  • Coordinating meetings in Outlook calendar, sending out requests and finding travel arrangements for the day
  • Preparing invoices and logging information into Excel
  • Updating client contacts, client lists and mailing lists, and circulating property details daily via system to thousands of applicants
  • Keeping social media accounts and property portals up to date
  • Preparing case studies and other promotional marketing material
