Sales Executive

MBNA Thames Clippers, part of AEG Europe, are the fastest and most frequent fleet on the river. As London's leading River Bus service, the fleet of high speed catamarans provide commuters and sightseers with a unique way to travel around the capital. We carry around 4 million passengers a year and employ over 320 staff.

 

We are recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our professional Sales team at Clipper House, in Trinity Buoy Wharf.

 

You will be responsible for supporting the Sales team to meet the Sales and Corporate Marketing Objectives, by meeting and exceeding sales targets for Group bookings; managing Private hire enquires and bookings and proactively promoting and driving sales for Private hire and Group bookings.

You will need to create, maintain and enhance strong relationships with riverside venues, hotels and relevant agencies and also represent MBNA Thames Clippers at meetings, conferences, and networking events to introduce new contacts and convert to new relationships.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a sales or events environment and is happy working in a target driven environment.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong track record in building good internal and external working relationships across diverse business areas and functions.

A self-starter with a positive and flexible attitude to work, you will be able to use your initiative to meet the needs of the business and the customer. You will be organised with proven time management skills and the ability to manage a varied and changeable workload.

A team player, with strong IT skills, including MS Office, you will be committed to providing customer service of the highest standard.
