Team: Digital Development Team

Reporting to: Digital Innovation Manager

Summary and Purpose:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and proactive developer to shape the digital user experience across the group within a varied and evolving environment. The main purpose of this role is to develop the Group’s authenticated client portal and the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the ongoing development of the solution.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with development team to implement firm’s technology roadmap, primarily through the authenticated client portal, taking the lead for development
• Overseeing code quality of junior and / or contract developers and ensuring adherence to standards
• Proven ability to deliver a wide range of projects, large and small
• Experience of DevOps, with continuous development and continuous integration
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Willingness to also work on projects using technologies with which you may not be familiar with
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and developers to include coaching junior developers
• Ensure developments are optimised for mobile and speed
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and standards
• Adhere to all information security policies and procedures
• Organising and prioritising within agile team
