EveryDay, part of Age UK North Tyneside, is looking for caring, compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Personal Support Assistant - Domestic.

We're hosting a Drop-In Recruitment & Interview Day where you can find out more about the role, meet our team and interview on the day.

About the Role

As a Personal Support Assistant (Domestic), you'll support older people and vulnerable adults to remain independent in their own homes and Extra Care Housing Schemes.

The role focuses on providing practical support that helps people maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life. You'll be working both independently and as part of a supportive team, providing services that make a genuine difference to people's lives.

Typical duties include:

  • Housekeeping and domestic cleaning
  • Dusting, vacuuming and maintaining clean and safe environments
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Shopping for or with customers
  • Preparing meals and light cooking
  • Providing companionship and social interaction
  • Supporting customers to maintain hobbies, interests, family and friendship connections
  • Reporting any changes in a customer's health and wellbeing
