About the Role
As a Personal Support Assistant (Domestic), you'll support older people and vulnerable adults to remain independent in their own homes and Extra Care Housing Schemes.
The role focuses on providing practical support that helps people maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life. You'll be working both independently and as part of a supportive team, providing services that make a genuine difference to people's lives.
Typical duties include:
- Housekeeping and domestic cleaning
- Dusting, vacuuming and maintaining clean and safe environments
- Laundry and ironing
- Shopping for or with customers
- Preparing meals and light cooking
- Providing companionship and social interaction
- Supporting customers to maintain hobbies, interests, family and friendship connections
- Reporting any changes in a customer's health and wellbeing
- Compassionate and reliable
- Eager to learn and develop
- Passionate about making a positive difference
- Able to work as part of a caring, supportive team
