Are you a Care Assistant who thrives on making a real and positive difference to the lives of older people?
If so, Akari Care would love to hear from you! We are looking for passionate Care Assistants to join our bank team. Working as a bank carer, you will have flexibility to work variable shifts to suit you and your lifestyle.
At Akari Care, we provide residential and nursing care services to the elderly across the UK. Each care home is an extended family, bringing together residents and their loved ones, our colleagues in care, clinicians, hairdressers, commissioners and regulators, members of the local community – the list goes on. We are focussed on creating a warm and inclusive environment in which our residents feel a sense of security and belonging, while at the same time retaining their dignity and self-respect.
We never compromise on the quality of our services and our extended team includes trusted GPs, Dentists, Chiropodists and Dieticians, who all work hard to improve our residents’ quality of life. Our dementia care homes have qualified, dedicated staff who help people to maintain the identity and dignity of our residents. With a focus on living life to the fullest, our homes offer activities such as hairdressing salons, bars, cinemas, gardening, and cooking courses to name just a few!
We are looking for people who are either looking to start their career within care or people who are experienced carers. We are looking for people who want to be part of Akari Care and who will be proud to be a part of the family.
Our carers are the first port of call for our residents, whether they be helping with personal care, meals or simply spending time with them chatting about the day. We look to our carers to create an atmosphere which enables our residents to have fun and thoroughly enjoy living with us at Akari Care whilst assisting them with their individual needs
In return we will offer you development plans, never curb your enthusiasm and support you in every step of your journey with us.
