Join Akari Care at a very exciting time as we open our new flagship home in Sheffield. Our new 61 bedded nursing and residential home is scheduled to open in autumn, therefore we now have the exciting task of recruiting a fantastic team who will deliver the best experiences possible to our residents.
The role of Activities Coordinator is a pivotal role in any care home, in our new home we will have 2 Activities Coordinators who will work across 7 days making sure we can offer our residents and families fun and engaging activities all week.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about making people happy, you will be the sort of person who likes to get to know people so that activities can be personalised and have the most impact. Parts of this role will be challenging so it is vital that you are patient and kind.
Being Activities Coordinator is not all about delivering fun and engaging activities, a big part of it is to build strong links with the communities so that we can all do things together. There is also an element of event planning for things like our summer and Christmas fairs.
Activities Coordinator is a fantastic role that you really can make your own and run with any creative ideas.
