At Akari Care, we provide residential and nursing care services to the elderly across the UK. In our Deputy Home Manager, we look for people who are experienced in senior positions within a nursing care setting and are familiar with regulations and legislation. It is beneficial but not essential to be skilled in budgeting and administration.
Closely supporting our Registered Home Manager, our Deputy Home Manager is responsible for promoting, managing and co-ordinating care plans, and you’ll play a pivotal role in team leadership. Part of this role will be to support in devising rotas, oversee training and conducting supervisions, you will be a key part delivering a wonderful service to our residents. In Akari part of the role of being a Deputy Home Manager is to take a hands-on approach to care too.

The Wheatfield team work very hard to accommodate the needs of all the residents and for those who have a strong sense of independence, the home has good access to local amenities and transport links. At the same time, there are many activities to enjoy in-house. Whatever their preferences, we encourage all residents to remain physically and mentally active, to the best of their ability.
We have a wide range of residents, with varying capabilities and needs, and for those with more complex needs we provide nursing packages that are maintained by an advanced Care Team, with respite and palliative services also available.
