Employment Partner - Ipswich
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Employment Partner to join our team. This is a leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future of our employment law offering, drive business development and deliver exceptional legal services to our clients.
As a key member of the team, you will provide strategic advice and representation across a broad range of employment law matters, working closely with colleagues and clients to achieve favourable outcomes. You will also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to firm-wide initiatives and expanding our client base through networking and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering clear, effective legal advice and advocacy on employment law matters to businesses
- Collaborating with HR consultancy colleagues to provide integrated solutions
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of employment-related documents, including Settlement Agreements, Service Agreements and Purchase Agreements
- Representing clients in tribunals and other forums, where appropriate
- Supporting firm-wide service delivery across our geographic footprint
- Leading and contributing to seminars, webinars and client training sessions
- Assisting with tender bids and proposals for new business
- Driving business development and networking initiatives to grow the employment practice
About You
- A qualified solicitor with a high level of experience in employment law
- Proven track record of advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to build lasting client relationships
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members
- Confident presenter and communicator, with experience in delivering seminars and client training
- A proactive networker and business developer, keen to grow your practice and contribute to the firm’s success
