Ashtons Legal’s Business Client Group provides a comprehensive range of legal services tailored to businesses of all sizes, with a particular focus on privately owned companies. Our services are designed to support businesses throughout their entire lifecycle - from formation and growth to restructuring and eventual sale. Our integrated approach ensures that clients receive holistic legal support under one roof from our teams of legal experts.
Your Role
As a Business Development Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our business development efforts. You will:
- Collaborate with Business Unit Directors to develop and implement marketing strategies and plans
- Research and identify new business opportunities—new markets, trends, partnerships and ways to reach existing clients
- Prepare concise business summaries and provide administrative support for proposals
- Coordinate client events and conferences in partnership with our Events team
- Assist in preparing impactful presentations and pitches for prospective clients.
- Monitor and analyse lead generation data and CRM input
- Work with the Digital team on SEO and digital marketing strategies
- Coordinate press releases, articles, newsletters, and other marketing content
- Promote a culture of cross-referrals and collaboration across the Business Client Group
- Ensure the Group is well-represented at business development events - and represent the firm when appropriate
- Help formalise and implement a CRM programme for the Business Client Group
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience developing and delivering marketing strategies which support business growth
- Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in CRM systems and a solid understanding of business development and tender processes
- Broad knowledge of business, with strong sector networks
- Excellent communication, listening, and networking skills—comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
