Project Manager

Audley Group are expanding at a rapid pace, and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with Programme Management experience to take ownership of the newly created PMO. Reporting to the IT Director, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing a range of technology projects and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organisation. You will strategically manage the programme lifecycle, developing project and programme governance.

Audley continually has strings of projects running in parallel and these must be coordinated and managed as Programmes. The successful post holder will consolidate and co-ordinate the different project plans to ensure all tasks are clearly mapped out and allocated.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage a range of technology projects and activities which  will require coordination of external vendor project teams.
  • Managing external vendors and their project managers across a diverse array of business system and technology projects
  • Daily program management throughout the programme life cycle
  • Developing project and programme governance (controls) and tooling
  • Controlling the overall programme and monitoring project progress
  • Developing RFIs and coordinating tender processes to engage appropriate vendors into projects.

 Skills and attributes:

  • Project Management within a technical IT environment is a bonus.
  • Strong personality with matching communication skills, analytical and financial skills.
  • Prince 2/Agile
  • Formal Project Management skills and Programme management experience in a medium enterprise.
  • Be able to drive, facilitate and deliver change.
  • Strong planning, monitoring, analytical and reporting skills.
