Warmth. Empathy. Respect. They are at the heart of delivering care the ‘Audley way’
Audley Care is a well-established community care organisation, with our office based at our 5* luxury retirement village Audley Nightingale Place in Clapham, London. We are actively looking for onsite night care assistant to provide care to our owners at Nightingale Place.
The hours for this role are 8pm to 8am waking night shifts.
We’ll look to you to personally deliver care, the Audley way, to our customers in their own homes based on our luxury retirement village. Through our Audley Academy, we’ll give you all of the training and support you need (including funding you through your QCF level 2 so that you can provide care that’s full of empathy, understanding, and respect. In return, we’ll take equally good care of you. With a competitive salary, a generous mileage allowance if working out in the community, smart uniforms, paid holiday, Medicash plan and discounts on a range of local and national retailers all come as standard.
All of our customers are unique – so they all have different needs. Working from specially prepared personal care plans, you’ll help out with a huge range of tasks – making sure everything’s done exactly as your customers like it. Some will need your help with getting washed and dressed, or taking their medications correctly. Others might need a hand with the laundry, keeping the house spick and span, or getting in the shopping. Whatever you’re doing, you’ll take a real sense of pride in delivering care that sets the standard.
Obviously, if you have experience in delivering care that’s fantastic – but for us it’s not essential. Our Audley Academy will help you work towards your QCF 2 in Care, and build your skills. It’s the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, to treat them with respect, and to appreciate that you’re in their home, and need to do things their way, that is vital. Warm, capable, reliable and discreet, you’ll be a real asset to the team.
Keeping our care teams and customers safe is our priority. We provide all of our carers with the following - Type IIR Masks, Visors, Aprons, Gloves & Sanitisers as well as weekly Covid testing for all staff.
