As an Audley Receptionist, along with the meeting and the greeting and being the very heart and hub of the luxury retirement village, you will assist in the day to day smooth and efficient running of the site and ensure all who come into contact with you are served efficiently and professionally, promoting our luxury brand.
Audley Chalfont Dene luxury retirement village is close to Buckinghamshire’s Chiltern Hills near Chalfont St Peter.
In line with the Audley way, we take great pride in maintaining the impressive standard of service in everything we do. It will be your job to maintain the tidiness and cleanliness in the Reception area and execute our high standards of presentation. You will take restaurant and bistro reservations, handle business enquiries, deal with people from all walks of life, and you will do this in a warm and engaging way, professionally and efficiently.
You will need a great knowledge of the local area and also of the various facilities and services within or around the village. Of course communication is key in this role and along with being there to lend an empathetic ear and deal with any queries with a professional and business like approach, you will be expected to liaise regularly with potential owners, current owners, the general public and all colleagues across the business from reporting maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager to showing someone around the spa or restaurant. You’ll be happy to turn your hand to most things, helping with service in the bistro occasionally when required.
Punctual, reliable with great attention to detail you will have the ability to undertake some very varied duties and sometimes diverse requests & queries from owners and guests. You will have a warm, empathetic, professional and friendly manner and you will enjoy looking the part too, taking pride in your personal appearance you will wear the Audley uniform with pride.

You must be flexible person with a positive, approachable attitude and tolerant nature. You will also have a good level of IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office along with experience of complaint handling.
Variable shifts between 08:00-20:00 - including weekends.
