Aurora St. Christopher's
We are currently looking for a Head of Care in Westbury Park, Bristol where Aurora St Christopher’s children’s home supports children and young people aged 5 to 19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties including Autism, physical and sensory needs. Some young people also display behaviours that challenge those around them.
Ultimately; your role will be to provide leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to ensure that all our staff are confident, competent and motivated in their roles through which we endeavour to ‘empower uniqueness’ in every child and young person that we support.
As the registered manager, you will be accountable to OFSTED for the standards set with in the home, but will have support from a team of house managers to help you deliver and maintain the high quality standards of care we expect at Aurora. You will also have the support of the on-site school and clinical services including, psychology, OT, music, nursing and speech and language therapy.
Key to this role will be your ability to ensure the effective allocation of current resources and your ability to develop, attract and retain employees.
You will be driven to improve the outcomes of young people in the home, ensuring that the home continues to develop to a high quality service for all young people living there.
