The Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Due to our continued expansion; we’re currently looking for a Marketing and PR Assistant in Twigworth, Gloucestershire) to support our marketing and PR activities.
Reporting to our Marketing and Communications Manager; your role will be responsible for supporting all the day to day marketing request the team receive from the business such as organising events (e.g. school open days, recruitment fairs) and creating physical and digital marketing materials.
You will be expected to work closely with all our schools, colleges and care homes across the UK to create communications that can be used in local and national PR to raise awareness of the services the group offers and the great work that we do.
To that accord you’ll be expected to develop relationships with the media (TV, Radio, Broadsheets, local community media) and track and measure our success.
The role will give you a great exposure to a wide variety of media channels/outlets and will give you a great opportunity draft press releases, liaise with 3rd parties (such as designers and printers) and play a key role in our marketing strategy.
In addition to managing requests from the business you’ll also play an active role in assisting the Marketing and Communications Manager with monthly reports and newsletters as well as dealing with inbound enquiries, competitor analysis, MI reporting and the raising of purchase orders and new supplier arrangements.
