We’re looking for a confident and capable Guest Services and Accommodation Manager to lead and motivate the teams that look after our guests from the moment they arrive and ensure that their accommodation is prepared and presented to the highest standards. You’ll be overseeing all things guest services and accommodation, ensuring that the guest experience is outstanding.

You’ll be leading, managing and developing both the Guest Services and Accommodation teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This includes:
Recruiting, managing and developing a large department that includes a management team, reception team, cleaning team leaders and accommodation cleaners
Spending lots of your time with guests, meeting and greeting to check them into their accommodation
Managing holiday bookings
Ensuring our guest accommodation is ready for arrivals and to the highest of standards
Resolving customer complaints
Liaising with and helping out colleagues onsite to ensure that our guests’ experience is always excellent
Working together with other managers in the park and centrally to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Coaching and helping Team Leaders resolve guest issues in a way that makes everyone feel good
Contributing to the strategic direction of the company and the park from the perspective of the accommodation and guest services offer
Managing and controlling budgets and identifying and implementing cost savings
Championing and implementing Health and Safety policies to ensure team and guest safety
Being the first point of contact for all our Holiday Home Owners
One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.
We are looking for a high-calibre manager who can demonstrate the following:
A good level of general education
Previous management or supervisory experience
The ability to manage performance issues and conflict situations assertively and with empathy
Exceptional communication skills and able to adapt style to people at all levels
Exceptional organisation skills and able to keep a good few plates spinning
A solid understanding of budgeting and finance
Experience in a customer-facing or sales role
A strategic mindset and a strong focus on customer service delivery
A forward-thinking outlook and open to new ideas
It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential, if you have an NVQ in hospitality, customer services or tourism, have worked in a similar role on a holiday park and have coaching and mentoring experience.
