What we need in a nutshell

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Spa Manager with a Level 3 in Beauty Therapy, who can support the Spa Manager in leading our team and delivering exceptional guest experience.

If you have strong treatment skills, team supervision experience, and a passion for both service excellence and retail performance, then we’d love to hear from you.

Who are we

We are a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday. At our amazing UK resorts we pull out all the stops and add the bells and whistles to give our guests the holiday of a lifetime. Find out more about our holiday experience on our website: http://www.awayresorts.co.uk.

 What you'll be doing

As Deputy Spa Manager, you’ll be an essential support to the Spa Manager—helping lead the team, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring treatment standards and guest satisfaction remain sky-high. You’ll also play a key role on the treatment floor, be involved in stock control, assist with team development, and help drive both retail and treatment revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a full range of beauty and wellness treatments with care, professionalism, and friendliness

  • Supporting and supervising spa therapists during shifts, especially in the absence of the Spa Manager

  • Assisting with booking systems, daily operations, rotas, and guest management

  • Supporting stock control, supplier ordering, and retail display

  • Monitoring guest feedback and helping implement improvements

  • Upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

  • Contributing ideas to improve service delivery and profitability

  • Leading by example on guest experience, brand standards, and professionalism

  • Helping to grow the spa's reputation and performance across peak periods

Skills and Experience Needed:

  •  Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent, with experience in Massage, Facials, and Body treatments
  • Previous experience as a Senior Therapist, Assistant Spa Manager, or Team Leader within a spa, resort, or holiday park environment
  • Strong customer service and team communication skills

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to sales targets, retail growth, and treatment bookings

  • Experience in using spa booking systems and handling transactions

  • A calm, confident, team-oriented approach with a desire to deliver high standards

  • A passion for wellness and the spa industry

  • Experience with brands like ELEMIS or Dermalogica is an advantage, but training is available

  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays—because holidays happen at holiday times!
