Marketing Executive

Our Marketing Teams are responsible for developing and delivering all marketing activity across the business in support of our sales objectives. Our teams plan and design targeted integrated marketing campaigns through online and offline channels in line with our strategic marketing plan and budgets.

In terms of variety, there is plenty to keep you motivated and challenged. Depending on the role there's opportunities to be responsible for planning and managing campaigns for new and existing developments, working with key agencies to deliver media plans and marketing collateral, completing competitor analysis and market research, liaising with PR agencies, managing web content, and, of course, measuring the effectiveness of all marketing activities.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Joining one of the UK’s most successful homebuilders as a Marketing Executive for our division in the North East you will be responsible for the implementation of the marketing plans across a wide range of digital and offline channels. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting to the Marketing Manager
  • Responsible for the implementation of marketing plans as defined by the Marketing Manager
  • Support the development of the three month rolling divisional marketing plan ensuring that all site plans are maintained and kept up to date
  • Utilise group systems to book media and create on and offline collateral according to group templates, including briefing, quotations, bookings and approvals
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure that collateral is produced and media is booked according to timescales specified on the marketing plan
  • Ensure divisional media and creative costings are input and maintained on a rolling basis
  • Attend marketing meetings as required, issue minutes and action logs
  • Support the marketing team to deliver best in class content on the divisional web pages, including writing fresh and engaging content
  • Prepare reports on competitor activity
  • Develop and maintain workflow links and relationships with key stakeholders i.e. sales team, land team, technical team, agencies, regional and group marketing team
  • Assist Marketing Manager with the delivery of the divisional PR plan in conjunction with the PR agency
  • Deliver strong & compelling email campaigns analysing the results for use in future campaigns
  • Planning and implementation of new development and show home launches

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Ideally a marketing qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Ideally a competent user of Photoshop & video editing suites
  • A pro-active attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Strong organisational skills and effective at time management
  • High level of IT literacy with the ability to learn and utilise a range of different IT systems
  • Strong copy writing and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker with an analytical capability
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative
  • Able to adapt to new ways of working
  • Proven capability of building strong relationships with internal colleagues and external agencies
