Our Furnishings division, BD Living provide furnishing solutions that will fit in with our customers’ homes perfectly.  This team supplies and fits storage and bedroom furniture, from cutting edge styles to contemporary classics.  Not just supporting our Customers, BD living also support our Sales and Marketing teams with a one stop shop, creating the layout and design of our marketing suites and completing the full fit-out of the suites across the country.

Depending on the role, you could be part of the support staff in the office working within our Technical, Sales, Finance, or Admin teams.  You may be working in our warehouse as a production operative or you could be working out in the field as one of our fitters or drivers based throughout the UK.  Together we ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience to all.

We are looking to recruit a Part-Time Account Co-Ordinator within our busy Sales & Installations Department:

Summary of the Role: This is a part-time Job Share role working 24 hours over 3 days per week, in our Sales & Installations department, to deliver high standards of customer service and provide excellent support to Customers of the Barratt Group and BD Living Bedroom Division, to ensure the orders for the delivery and installation of bedroom furniture to every customer is achieved within designated timelines.


What will I be responsible for: Administer and service all customer orders in a professional, welcoming and efficient manner, delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Service Level Agreement and time-lines.

Take responsibility and ownership of a Regional Account, ensuring that all orders and product requirements are proactively processed to effect the installation of bedroom furniture for all customers, within a designated process and timescale.

Liaise with both internal and external customers in a proficient and professional manner to ensure an effective working relationship is maintained to process all customer orders via both telephone and e-mail, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently and within our sales processes.

Prioritise workload in line with the programme for installation requirements, and ensure all paperwork is produced to enable the installation process on site to be carried out "right first time".



Must have exceptional communication skills and be customer focused with experience in a similar role.

Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to quickly analyse, co-ordinate and make decisions independently.

Have an excellent telephone manner, organised and self-motivated.

Strong MS skills are required.

Must be flexible to cover holidays as and when required.
