Barratt David Wilson
27 October 2017
Within the Construction environment, think about buying materials, managing big projects, ensuring health and safety and customer service.
At any given time, you’ll find us working on some circa 400 developments in both towns and rural areas across the UK, and every one poses unique challenges. Some are from scratch on brownfield sites; others see us adapting existing buildings, like old factories or disused hospitals. We need people who can bring us fresh ideas and imagination on one hand, and the commercial ability to manage people, budgets and costs on the other.
It is testament to the professionalism of our construction teams that for an unprecedented eleventh year, Site Managers have won more NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards than any other housebuilder.
Building homes, building careers
You might think of us as a homebuilder, but we’re just as committed to building a great place to work. Our culture’s focused more than ever on involving, rewarding and developing people, so now’s an excellent time to start building your future career.
Working among a wide range of sub-contracted craft and trade specialists, you’ll make sure that materials are protected and the site is safe and in good order. Helping us build quality homes on time and to budget, you’ll be an important member of the team, so we’re looking for a hard-working and reliable individual who can get on with others – and who can also get on with the work without close supervision.
What will I be responsible for:
Enthusiasm is everything at Barratt Developments. People who never stop looking for a better way have helped us drive quality, push the boundaries of housebuilding with sustainable technology and meet the housing needs of the nation. Now we’re after more of that driven, can-do approach.
We’re looking for Patchers to attend to pre-plaster inspections.
You will be responsible for the final preparations, to finished and occupied plots and general site duties as required.
We require high quality workmanship, but in return we offer highly competitive rates of pay with immediate openings available in Harrogate, York and surrounding areas.
Keep us one step ahead - move your career forward.
All applicants MUST hold a valid CSCS card.
