In order to support future growth and the achievement of sales, margin and commercial objectives, our Bestway Vans Direct team is looking to recruit a Contract Account Manager based in the North West of England.

Reporting into the Contract Account Controller you will be operating in the wholesale sector managing key accounts and overseeing the operational side of the business from the availability of stock to timely delivery. You will responsible for achievement of sales targets, business development, cash profit and customer satisfaction.


Key responsibilities of this role, amongst others, will include to:-

Ensure that by working alongside the Contract Team, sales and customer satisfaction targets are achieved
Effectively manage the orders through the Bestway network to delivery of the stock to your customers.
Work collaboratively with your team plus the teams across our BB Foodservice depots and Sheffield Support Centre at all times to ensure open and encouraging forms of communication
You will be challenged to bring in new business to secure future sales growth
We are looking for an influential person, adept at bringing new ideas and ways of thinking to the role backed up with the ability to drive through these new ways of working. With a customer centric approach, you should be passionate about putting the customer first and ensuring that exceptional levels of customer service are provided at all times.

The role will require travel outside of the North West to visit new and existing customers.

Ideally you should have experience gained in the wholesale /retail / sales arena. With a solid understanding of account management, you’ll have the experience to expertly handle the growth plans associated with this role.

You will be comfortable in challenging effectively, when appropriate and be confident in driving achievement through the measurement of set and agreed targets. Working in a collaborative manner, skilful time management will also be one of your strengths, as well as your excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with confidence and work creatively to solve problems.

This role offers an attractive salary and benefits package including bonus, company car, fuel card, death in service and a contributory pension. OTE £40k – includes £35k basic
