Catering Team Leader - Bestway Leicester

We are currently looking for a Catering Team Leader to join the team at our Leicester branch:

You will be responsible for supporting on and drive an efficient, effective, and successful delivery service from the nominated Delivery Centre / Hub. You will ensure a safe working environment for all whilst providing excellent customer, colleague, and stakeholder experience always.

Key duties will include:-

• Always ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Act as a champion for the company values ensuring they are embedded effectively.
• Seek out, drive, and maximise commercial opportunities to improve cash profit and grow the business.
• Ensure space allocation of stock enabling maximum operating efficiency.
• To maximise Customer experience and retention.
• Act as an ambassador for change, supporting, executing, and embedding all new business initiatives as part of the company plan.
• Build effective working relationships and communicate effectively with Head Office team, internal and external stakeholders, and customers.
• Drive the standards for great customer satisfaction ensuring a consistently positive shopping experience.
• Act as an Ambassador for the business.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures in relation to stock management and expense claims are adhered to.
• Ensure Health & Safety Policy and Legislation is adhered to.

• Develop a positive and united team culture, allowing autonomy and ownership of role responsibilities open and honest two-way communications, and supportive and professional leadership style.
• Understand Competitor activity in the local market utilising information gleaned to drive competitive advantage, win new customers, and grow sales and cash profit working closely with colleagues at each reporting branch.
• Review and analyse data provided from the reporting suites to identify trends, blockers, and challenges. Creating workable solutions that will drive both profit and efficiencies.
• Create and implement a realistic plan with the depot team to ensure the ongoing and future development and growth of all branches.

• Ensure each depot layout is planned and maintained considering regional differences and past issues working closely with key stakeholders in all branches and H/O.
• Ensure correct range as agreed with trading is stocked and monitored for availability. All overstocks to be identified timely for corrective actions.
• Should be prepared to spend extended periods from home up to 4 days per week during Project Phase period.
