We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Non Trading Team Leader at our Croydon depot.
As our Team Leader you will be responsible for effectively leading on all of the Customer Service and compliance responsibilities associated with the depot including Reception, Cash Office and Health & Safety providing an excellent customer, colleague and stakeholder experience at all times.
You will also be required to support and assist the General Manager in achieving and exceeding all depot KPIs, targets and objectives. Day to day duties of this exciting role will involve ensuring all administration processes are carried out efficiently, effectively and in accordance with legislative guidelines and procedures. From a credit perspective this could include ensuring controls are in place for the management of customer credit and debt, processing credit applications, monitoring and chasing outstanding debt and processing supplier returns.
This role will also include ensuring full compliance of Health & Safety activities within the depot, detailed accident reporting, risk assessments and staff training.
You'll manage the teams that work within our Cash Office and Reception environments ensuring depot standards and quality metrics are met and you'll organise and plan resource to ensure adequate cover against volume and demand. In addition, you'll motivate and inspire your team to achieve results whilst acting as a champion for our Company Values.
To be successful in this role, you'll need previous experience of successfully leading a team in a fast paced wholesale or retail or office environment. Highly organised, with exceptional planning skills you'll have the ability to effectively manage and prioritise tasks while your strategic problem solving skills mean you can re-work situations when required to ensure minimum impact to the business or customer.
