Executive Assistant:

 

The Brendoncare Foundation are looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant & Office Manager to support our Chief Executive and ensure the smooth operation of our Central Office. This is a key role at the heart of our organisation, providing exceptional administrative and secretarial support, while also overseeing office functions and managing a small team.

 

What will I be doing:

 

  • Provide confidential and efficient secretarial support to the Chief Executive.
  • Manage diaries, coordinate meetings, and liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Organise and minute Board and Committee meetings.
  • Assist in organising key events such as awards ceremonies and away days.
  • Offer ad hoc administrative support to the Chairman and Senior Management Team.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of Central Office, ensuring supplies and facilities are well managed.
  • Liaise with external providers for services including shredding, recycling, and archiving.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety protocols, and maintain internal documentation.
  • Lead and support the Reception team.

 

What do I need to have to apply:

 

Essential:

 

  • Previous EA/PA experience
  • Strong computer skills in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Good communication skills, including an excellent telephone manner
  • Highly organised and able to manage several tasks in a busy environment and meet deadlines
  • Experienced in minute-taking

 

Desirable:

  • Experience of office management and people management
  • Understanding of health and safety and fire safety regulations in an office environment.
