What we are looking for:

  • We are looking for experienced Seniot Care Assistants or motivated and enthusiastic individuals with strong experience in care reaady to take the next step into a senior carer position.
  • You will need a level 3 adult social care qualification, or a level 2 adult social care qualification with a willingness to complete the level 3 course.

PAY

We are a real living wage employer, and we pay additional incentives for unsocial shifts to arrive at an average pay level. As a senior carer working alternate weekends and half of the bank holidays you can expect to earn £11.31 per hour made up as follows

- Basic pay of £10.60

- 20% additional pay at weekends

- Double pay on Bank holidays.

Responsibility and duties:

  • Delivering high quality personal care to our residents
  • Organising and encouraging the care team under the leadership of the duty nurse.
  • Setting the standards of care to be delivered in the home.
  • Ensuring that every individual within the home has a personalised and meaningful experience of life.
  • Participating in nursing procedures to assist our nursing staff - we will provide additional training for senior carer competencies such as medication management, wound care, clinical observations and many more.
  • Maintaining the dignity and privacy of residents and respecting their individual needs
  • Assisting with serving meals and drinks
  • Assisting with other tasks as requested to ensure the smooth running of the home
  • Attending and participation in orientation, mandatory and other training as required
