THE ROLE

We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to lead the architecture and integration of all the IT Systems across the British Business Bank Group. The Enterprise Architect will manage a team of domain architects and achieve results through effective delegation to team members.

You will use your technical expertise and exceptional stakeholder and supplier management experience to develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture & Strategy, to provide an IT landscape that supports business capabilities within British Business Bank.

You will manage relationships with business stakeholders, Change and IT teams to help deliver enterprise solutions and t embed a continuous improvement mindset. You will define the skills and competencies required for the Architecture team, and work with the team to put in place appropriate training and development plans to ensure these are met.

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for Architecture Governance for all IT change, will chair the Technical Design Authority; facilitating open discussion and debate. You will balance architecture standards and technical best practice against business ambition, risk appetite and any constraints; to achieve cost effective and proportionate business outcomes.

You will be responsible for solution and integration architecture, using technical expertise to translate business problems into technical designs and assist in selecting suitable IT Solutions. You will oversee the integration of new applications into the integration layer including Finance, HR, Payroll Application, CRM, Office 365, and the Core Banking platform.

In order to be successful in this position, were looking for strong leadership experience, including developing direct reports to create an effective, well-functioning team environment.

We’re looking for extensive experience with designing secure and integrated solutions involving Microsoft, Hybrid Cloud, Salesforce, ERP, BI, and Web technologies.
