Central Donor Sperm Bank Administrator

We have an excellent opportunity for a Central Donor Sperm Bank Administrator to join CARE Fertility, you will provide a high-quality service for patients and clinics on a group wide basis. The Role

  • Responsible for the administrative processes surrounding the CARE donor sperm bank.
  • Liaise with all CARE clinics on the acceptance of donors into the sperm bank, and the matching of recipients.
  • Auditing of donor cryostock where appropriate.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of the donor sperm program i.e. accepting sperm into the CARE bank, matching of donor and recipients, the reservation of donor sperm for sibling pregnancies, transferring donor sperm to other clinics, importing and exporting of donor sperm, and collation of treatment outcomes.
  • Maintenance/administration of sperm bank paperwork and protocols
  • Maintenance of accurate records of sperm bank incident reports and complaints.
  • Auditing of the CARE sperm bank and movement of shipments from the bank (training in Liquid nitrogen handling will be provided)
  • Work with the Marketing and PR teams and to attend patient events as required in relation to the sperm bank.

The Person

  • Good standard of education, with GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade A- C
  • Previous demonstrable experience within a customer service environment
  • Proficient IT skills with ability to use Microsoft office packages as well an ability to navigate organisational databases and follow digital processes
  • An understanding and appreciation of patient confidentiality
  • Act as a CARE Fertility ambassador
  • A desire for continuous personal and professional development
