It’s a busy role! You’re resolving issues, coordinating the day-to-day activities of the team, allocating workloads, scheduling rotas, nurse competencies, training new staff, sorting out theater lists.
You’re the lynchpin of the clinic, the person coordinating everything. You’re making sure that your team and patients are in the right place at the right time.
You’re in charge of medicines management, making sure dispensing is done right. Liaising across QMs, embryologists, Consultants. This is truly an integral job in the clinic; you’re the go-to person helping to drive forward the development of the clinic and providing leadership across the nursing staff. You’ll line manage between 10-15 people.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone, you’ve got a strong deputy and really supportive team!
You’ve got real support in this role, peer to peer, along with the nurse managers’ group and prescribers’ group – we share best practice amongst the clinics, you’ll find different levels of support her to other clinics.
You have a wealth of leadership experience from either as a Nurse Manager role, or as a Manager and Deputy/Lead/Senior Nurse. You’re a real leader, you act as a role model for your team.
It would be highly desirable if you had significant fertility experience, along with a scanning qualification – however for the right Nurse Manager we can be open.
You’re incredibly organised with meticulous attention to detail. You have a great ability to adapt your communication to your audience’s needs – empathetic to patients needs and inspiring to your team.
You can act undependably, solving problems, resolving conflicts and identifying alternative courses of action without putting your patients at risk
