Group Sedation Trainer

This is an amazing chance to learn and develop in a brand-new role, gaining IVF and sedation experience.

We’re embarking on an ambitious programme of coaching and developing our nurses in patient sedation. You’ll play a key part in this as you’ll be responsible for promoting patient sedation amongst the CARE community as part of their day-to-day activities.

Working closely with the Sedation Lead you’ll support the creation and roll-out of training modules and competencies to help to integrate newcomers to the process.

This is a national where travel is required as you’ll attend clinics across the country, meeting with colleagues and being an ambassador for CARE sedation. Fielding questions and overcoming any objections or challenges, providing reassurance in the procedure and the training in place.

About you

You’re a qualified practitioner with conscious sedation experience. Coaching/training experience is highly desirable, but not essential as we can support you through train the trainer workshops and with mentorship from the Sedation Lead.

You’ll have a lot more autonomy in this role than you may have experienced so far therefore you need to be comfortable working under limited supervision and driving tasks – as opposed to being task-driven. This doesn’t mean you’ll be left to your own devices through as you’ll be working with the support of the Sedation Lead throughout.

A little more?

This role is available either full-time at 37.5hr pw or part-time at 30hrs pw.

There is a lot of travel, covering all of our clinics (as north as Manchester and as south as Bath or Tunbridge Wells), so ideally, you’re able to drive and have access to your own transport (just to make life easier for yourself).

When you’re not at one of our clinics you’ll be working remotely, so you can be based anywhere within close travelling distance of one of our clinics.

In a company where hard work and great results are recognised, you can look forward to a supportive culture of collaboration where we value each other.

  • Salary of up to £40,000 FTE - depending on experience
  • 25 Days annual leave (plus 8 public holidays)
  • Pension scheme
  • Life assurance
  • A range of flexible benefits to suit your needs.
