Medical Secretary (Part-time)

Are you a kind, empathetic person, looking to work with great people?

We’re looking for a medical secretary, someone who can provide administrative services to all patients who are undergoing investigations and treatments, and provide reception and clerical service in support of their colleagues.

You’ll spend your time speaking with patients, liaising with Nurses, Doctors, GP’s, NHS Trusts, coordinating clinic bookings, while carrying out clerical duties for the clinic.

About you:

Because you’ll be typing medical and clinic letters, and sending out appointments, previous medical secretarial experience is highly desirable, that way you’re familiar with the methods involved. If you’re familiar with NHS systems for example “Millennium” then that’s even better!

People skills are huge in this role as you’ll be making calls in and out of the clinic to staff, patients, other clinics and hospitals. You’re kind, thoughtful and empathic to others - we all are here, it goes with what we do.

You’ll need to be able to work well under pressure, be comfortable communicating with people of all backgrounds and have great administrative and clerical skills

This is a part-time role working 24hrs a week over three days - although we can be flexible.

What we’ll do for you:

It’s a rewarding to work here, you get to be a part of something amazing and you’ll have some great colleagues to work with in a really friendly and pleasant environment.

In a culture where hard work and great results are recognised, you can look forward to a competitive salary. That’s on top of a pension scheme, life assurance, and a range of other benefits.

Based in our Bath Clinic (BA2 8SG), we have onsite parking available.
