Closing Date: 21 January 2022

Salary: £19,000

Specific Hours: 37.5

Do you want to play a key role in helping to create families for people otherwise unable to do so?

This is a really varied and wide-ranging role – it has everything from an initial enquiry from a donor about their journey (visits, legalities, timescales etc.), to bringing them through to the clinic in a timely fashion. Making sure all appointments are booked, their pathway runs smoothly and they have an excellent experience.

This is an administration-based role, you’ll need to book in appointments, check that all forms are complete and accurate, making sure that each i is dotted and t is crossed – but you’re not sat behind a desk all day doing admin, this is an in-depth role where you’re liaising with everybody from donors to laboratories to doctors.

You’ll be a key part of the Donation Team, who deal with patients requiring treatment with donated eggs and sperm - they play a key role in helping to create families for those otherwise unable to do so. There are many development opportunities in this role for you, they all depend upon what you want to do and where you want your career to go.

About you:

If you’ve worked in administration in a clinical environment then that would be ideal; because then you’ll really understand this role. However, you don’t need to have worked in the medical sector before as long as you’re flexible, eager to learn, are able to work alone and have great attention to detail.

Maybe you’ve worked in both customer service and administration, and you have a strong understanding of delivering excellence for people, written and verbal, with accuracy and in a timely fashion. We’re looking for great team players with a desire for continuous personal and professional development.

Attention to detail cannot be stressed enough, this is a medical environment and mistakes can be dangerous.

Excellent communication is required as you’ll be dealing with people from all backgrounds, making In and outbound calls where needed, sending emails and delivering a high-quality patient experience – you’re acting as a CARE Fertility ambassador in all of your interactions.
