Fundraising Volunteer

The Treasurers’ Department at Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ) is looking for a volunteer to support its initiative to reengage with lapsed donors.  Working with the team (and with adjacent teams – in particular Membership Growth and Member Services) you will be an important part of the volunteer team helping to energise our donors.

Your responsibilities

• Call donors whose donation subscriptions have recently lapsed to let them know what work the Party is doing, and ask if they would be willing to renew their donations.  
• Take donations over the phone from donors willing to do so.
• Record salient comments on Party policy and image, to pass on to the Treasurers team.

Your professional experience

• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication (Telephone etiquette and experience with donations a strong plus)
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data protection
• Highly organised and self-motivated

This is a volunteer position and does not offer financial compensation. However, it provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at CCHQ.
