Digital Campaign Manager - CCA

The Conservative Councillors’ Association is looking for a Digital Campaign Manager to join our team. Working across the Conservative Party’s network of councils and councillors – you will work on digital projects to raise awareness and engage voters through content and social media.

You will be responsible for designing graphics, creating short videos, and working with colleagues across the Party on projects that have an impact.

You’re great at content planning, coming up with original ideas and opportunities to produce compelling content for local campaigns. You’re responsive to political events and don’t mind working flexible hours to ensure we are getting the message out.

Your responsibilities

  • Ongoing management of CCA digital projects.
  • Creating high-quality digital content including graphics, videos and animations (using Adobe CC).
  • Developing social media and broadcast-ready clips.
  • Delivering digital training to councillors/candidates.
  • Ensuring that our council’s content is always on the pulse, quick and consistent in generating digital content.

Your professional experience

  • Experience in managing and maintaining digital pages across channels such as Meta, YouTube, and X.
  • Demonstrable design prowess with a varied portfolio showing breadth of work.
  • Experience and a proven track record in creating engaging content – including graphics, videos, and animations
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects (desirable).
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise, to make quick decisions, to problem solve at pace and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ready to work in an agile, responsive and fast-paced environment.
  • An ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player.
  • A keen understanding of UK politics and the Conservative Party, with sound political judgement.
