Conservative Campaign Headquarters is excited to offer volunteering opportunities for individuals interested in supporting key campaigning, digital and fundraising projects ahead of the local elections! As this is a voluntary role, you’ll have the flexibility to choose how many hours you wish to volunteer, what dates, and commitment length to suit your schedule and in return, receive experience working for a political party.

This opportunity is perfect for motivated individuals who are passionate about politics and eager to gain hands-on experience in political campaigns. Whether you're looking to enhance your CV or kickstart your career in politics, this is an ideal opportunity to develop valuable skills and knowledge. We welcome anyone who’s eager to make a meaningful contribution!

Successful applicants would gain experience and exposure to:

  • Organisation and participation in campaigning activities.
  • Liaising with and supporting researchers, candidates and advisors.
  • Digital and fundraising activities.
  • Political media monitoring and reporting.
  • Group email box monitoring and drafting responses.
  • Data gathering, entry and analysis.
  • General activities in support of the wider campaign.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent and clear written style.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and flexibly.
  • A commitment to the Conservative Party.
  • A keen knowledge and interest in UK politics.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • A team player with a methodical and organised approach.
