Role Purpose


Acts as an integral member of the HR team in processing Payroll & Benefits. Obtains and inputs key employee information including joiners/leavers and changes. Initiates vendors for global mobility and drafts cost estimates. Ensures high quality administration and data integrity for key processes such as payroll, management reporting and employee contact.





  • Preparation of the inputs of the payrolls for Manager review

  • Execution of payroll instructions for Manager review

  • Ensuring adherence to HR and People Policies

  • Managing administration processes such as (but not exhaustively) benefits starters, leavers or changes

  • Collation and provision of accurate and timely management information

  • Relocation expense management for new starters

  • Cyclical projects for the Global Mobility, Payroll & Benefits Manager e.g. benchmarking and year-end statutory submissions

  • Cover for HR team as required in times of absence


The Candidate




  • Experience of working in a busy and professional office

  • Previous experience of working in a HR department

  • Payroll and Reward experience

  • Previous experience of working in a small but highly effective team

  • Experience of seeking and implementing process improvements

  • Adaptable to working in a fast pace and changing environment


Technical Skills


  • Experience in UK payroll and awareness of payroll legislation

  • Experience in benefits e.g. pensions

  • Experience in using payroll provider software such as ADP

  • Experience in using HR or People modules of HR systems such as Access, Peoplesoft, SAP, Workday and, or SelectHR

  • Excel skills including VLOOKUP, IF, PIVOT functionality

  • Proficiency in Word, Powerpoint and other office or equivalent packages

  • Delivery of reporting and management information delivery

  • General understanding of HR practice and policy in a blue chip organisation

  • Experience of a regulated environment and appreciation of risk frameworks and practice

  • Experience of working in a changing environment and solid understanding of people processes

  • Exceptional organisational skills working across a number of projects simultaneously

  • Highly developed analytical skill set, ability to make connections across multiple work streams

  • Ability to work autonomously/ with little supervision

  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills

  • High levels of resilience and tenacity to complete tasks to the highest quality
