Deputy Spa Manager

Aqua Sana is an award-winning spa offering a combination of experiences, products and treatments. Each spa – one at each Center Parcs location – is uniquely designed, with a minimum of 15 spa experience rooms to explore. There is also an extensive range of face and body treatments available to book, carried out by expert therapists using products from the finest treatment houses including Elemis and Decléor.

Aqua Sana is extremely popular and is accessible to both guests staying on the Village as a Center Parcs guest, and external guests who visit Aqua Sana during a Spa Day, Luxury Spa Break or for a treatment.

DEPUTY SPA MANAGER

A development role to provide a succession plan for talent within the Aqua Sana and to future proof the business going forward. The designated deputy for the Aqua Sana manager will cover both days off and holidays ensuring business and service consistency for both staff and guests seven days a week. This is not a stand-alone position but will be in addition to the nominated existing Assistant Manager responsibilities.

You will be required to assist the Aqua Sana manager in Delivering Excellent service through monitoring and evaluating guest comments and mystery guest results. Deal effectively with any guest complaints professionally and efficiently, as required by Company policy. Carry out any training where required alleviating any re-occurrence. Support the Aqua Sana manager to achieve compliance of all department standards and ensure all duties are carried out in line with department DOP manuals and Company procedures. Motivate the team and be the point of contact for direction, advice and leadership in the absence of the Aqua Sana manager.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

Essential requirements:

  • Current relevant managerial experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Desire to progress
  • Ability to utilise excellent time management skills and use own initiative

Desirable requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Proficiency in spa / leisure booking systems
