We are now looking to recruit Action Challenge Instructors to join the Outdoor Pursuits department.

You will meet and greet our guests at Action Challenge and you will coach and supervise them in a range of exciting activities in a manner that allows them to have great fun whilst feeling safe and secure. Your engagement with our guests will enrich their holiday experience, encouraging them to return and tell their friends.

You will be responsible for instructing sessions such as; high ropes, indoor and outdoor climbing, abseiling, tree trekking and Aerial Adventure. You will set up and maintain equipment ensuring all safety checks are carried out in accordance with company guidelines.


We have the following contracts available, working on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

  • 45 hours per four week period (3 out of 4 weekends)
  • 60 hours per four week period (mixture of mid-week and weekends)
  • 120 hours per four week period (mixture of mid-week and weekends)

Your hours of work will fall between 7:30am and 8pm and you will be required to work some public / bank holidays on a rota basis.


Essential requirements:

  • Applicants must be aged over 18 year’s old
  • Sociable, confident and outgoing
  • Naturally cheerful
  • Able to perform under pressure
  • Good basic standard of education
  • Physically capable to meet the demands of the role
  • The ability to communicate competently
  • Able to work as part of a team

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within the leisure/customer service industry
  • Experience of Outdoor Sports Activities
