You will be a dynamic, outgoing, friendly, confident people person. You will be an Assistant Manager who reports to the Outdoor Activity Centre Manager and you will help lead a team of approximately 20 team members of staff, encouraging them to coach and oversee/direct guests in a range of exciting adrenaline rush activities in a manner that allows them to have great fun whilst feeling safe and secure.

Your engagement with our guests will enrich their holiday experience encouraging them to return and tell their friends. You will ensure that high standards are met in a way that will maximise revenue and guest needs.

Other duties will include:

  • Assist the Outdoor Activity Centre Manager in the achievement of all financial and guest service targets
  • The day to day supervision of colleagues and building/equipment maintenance ensuring the smooth running of all facilities and activities
  • Develop and review the day to day operational procedures adopting best practice and methods of working for all routine tasks ensuring consistent delivery
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of colleague work patterns which reflect business demands and provide relevant holiday cover when required

Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to apply for disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB). This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.


You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period, on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. 

You will be required to be fully flexible between the hours of 8am and 7pm including 2 weekends out of 4 and some public / bank holidays on a rota basis.


Essential requirements:

  • Applicants must be aged over 18 year’s old
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous Supervisory or Management Experience
  • Good basic standard of education
  • IT literate including databases and spreadsheets

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience of Outdoor Sports Activities
  • Leisure & Tourism Qualification
  • First Aid Qualification
