Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you are required to attend to guest lodges to resolve maintenance issues. To assist a team of zone technicians in the efficient day to day running of the Technical Department. To carry out plumbing, electrical and/or gas heating works in areas as allocated by the lodge maintenance manager as well as other general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities will include attending call outs to Lodges and Principal Buildings as requested by Technical Services Management Team. To carry out and complete tasks and resolve maintenance issues. Ensure that any works not completed are communicated via PDA system and/or job sheets. Consult with the Lodge Maintenance Manager on works issues which may cause further problems. To carry out general and planned maintenance tasks in a zone/area of lodges.


You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period.  This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.    

As our Village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis. During late shift you will be required to be ‘on call’ for any issues that may arise during out of hours working.


Essential requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant trade experience
  • NVQ Level 3 trade qualification and with relevant supporting qualifications dependent on trades (e.g. Inspection and Testing or CCN1)
  • Valid driving licence
