Set in hundreds of acres of beautiful forest, our new Center Parcs resort – Longford Forest - will welcome 250,000 guests each year, providing the very best facilities and activities. To transform our vision into a reality, we’re looking for an incredible and unstoppable team of around 1,000 employees – and this is a unique opportunity to be involved from the start.

On a Center Parcs break we want our guests to relax knowing everything is taken care of. Our Retail department provides a fantastic shopping experience, from essential groceries to luxury items. Across the village there will be 6 retail units, 2 own brand and 4 concessions units. Ranging from a supermarket & sweet shop, to children’s toy shop and clothing stores featuring well-known brands such as Joules, Superdry, Hilfiger and The North Face. Whether you visit our on-village supermarket packed full of your favourite brands or our dedicated sweet shop for those afternoon treats, one thing’s for sure: our retail team delivers a memorable experience and excellent service wherever you go.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Retail Services Manager with leadership, drive and a commitment to deliver service excellence.

In conjunction with the Retail Services Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Village Retail operation overseeing our supermarket, sweet shop, on-site vending, pre-arrival orders, warehouse and delivery service. • Support the ongoing development of the Retail Team utilising training and development tools available. Ensure the delivery of all legal training as required

There will be the requirement to travel to the UK to undertake initial training on commencement of employment and the role will differ initially to when the resort is open and fully operational so flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to help out as required are key requirements.

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4 week period, on a flexible basis. During the pre-opening period it is anticipated that your hours of work will generally be Monday – Friday office hours, with flexibility required around business needs.

Once the village is operational your working hours will include evenings, weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis, with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.

Center Parcs is a fantastic place to work and the benefits are as impressive as they are unique. Here are just a few:

  • Staff bonus Scheme
