Security Assistant/Driver

ABOUT US 

From initial greeting through to departure our professionally trained security team are here to help. They control access to the Village, assist with emergencies and ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay.

We hope our guests never need them, but knowing we have a Security team on call all year-round provides peace of mind and reassurance. 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

In this role, you will be the main point of contact for our guests with restricted mobility or special requirements, transporting them around the Village, assisting with wheelchairs and providing a prompt and efficient service at all times.  A Full Driving Licence is essential for this role. 

Other responsibilities will also include making deliveries to various points on the village and transporting guest luggage. 

The ideal candidate will have a friendly nature and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.  You must be confident dealing with guest enquiries and enjoy working with people. 

Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be advantageous. 

HOURS OF WORK 

You will be contracted to work 128 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis, this means your days and hours of work could vary each week but you’ll always receive your contracted hours each period. You will be required to work evenings, weekends and public / bank holidays on a rota basis. 

ABOUT YOU 

Essential requirements: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, genuine and warm personality
  • Works well in a team
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Physically capable of carrying out the demands of the role 

Desirable requirements: 

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Previous security experience
  • IT Literacy
