ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Head Office Development team as Group Spa & Pool Services Technician.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of assets critical to the operation of our spa experience rooms, pools, flumes and rides across our 5 UK villages plus our new village in Ireland.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of these assets, developing essential preventative maintenance programmes and ensuring they are fully delivered; whilst also having the responsibility for reactive maintenance standards by our internal and external tradespersons.

To be successful in this role, you will have the C&G Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have maintenance experience of pool/spa plant and equipment.  Experience in managing technical teams is also required, along with a professional manner and excellent communication skills.

Business travel to all villages on a regular basis including overnight stays, is a key requirement of this role.  Although your ‘base’ is Head Office, it is an expectation of the role that you will spend the vast majority of your time working across our village locations.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis.  Your hours of work will predominantly be between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, however some out of hours works will be required according to business needs.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • C&G Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Maintenance experience of pool / spa plant and equipment
  • Experience of managing technical teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely

Desirable requirements:

  • PWTAG approved Pool Plant Operator
