We are looking for keen, cheerful and efficient Security Officers to work within a small team, responsible for the Security of our village. This role is paramount to our guests as you will represent their first impressions of Center Parcs.  Duties will include welcoming guests, visitors and staff to the village on a daily basis, carrying out vehicle, cycle and foot patrols, conducting vehicle checks, escorting staff on cash runs across the village, responding to emergencies including liaising with the emergency services and writing incident reports.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, with the ability to communicate competently both verbally and in writing.  A First Aid qualification is essential and full training will be given if necessary.


You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis.  This means that your days of work may vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. 

The village is open 365 days per year, so this role will include working weekends and public / bank holidays on a rota basis.  


Essential requirements:

  • SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor Badge (full training will be provided)
  • A Full UK Manual Driving Licence held for a minimum of 6 months
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Physically capable of carrying out the demands of the role
  • First Aid at Work Certificate (full training will be provided)
  • Able to perform well under pressure

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a Security environment would be an advantage
  • A working knowledge of IT systems
