ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all accommodation projects. This will include new build, major and minor refurbishments along with any other accommodation related co-ordination activities. You will ensure the projects are discharged in an efficient and risk free manner in accordance with Company policies and best practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Agreeing budgetary requirements with the Development Project Manager in accordance with the Company’s financial plan.
  • Working in conjunction with the Company’s Development Department to ensure that adequate control of contractors is in place, to deliver programmes on time and on budget.
  • Liasing with Head Office Procurement Department to place orders for all inventory items to ensure products are delivered and installed in time with contracted works. Manage and update the accommodation masterplan.
  • Controling on-site and Village-wide safety to ensure that the Health and Safety of all personnel, guests and contractors is not compromised, with particular attention to site boundaries and vehicles on the Village.
  • Ensure that all snagging items are completed within the agreed time scale, ensuring that the guest experience is not compromised.
  • Providing professional leadership and direction taking the lead role in the management of all accommodation projects.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week.

Your working hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5pm, this will include working on a rota basis as a Technical Services Duty Manager so will involve some weekends. You will also be required to work some public/bank holidays.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Qualification and suitable experience in either Building Services or Facilities Management
  • Previous suitable project management experience with a trade qualification
  • Previous experience in planning and prioritising tasks
  • Proven ability to complete works to a high standard, on time and within budget
  • Competent user of PC applications, including Word, Excel and Email
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience in a dynamic organisation
  • Proven organisational skills
  • ‘Paper light’ ways of working
  • Familiar with procurement techniques and associated forms of contracts
