ABOUT THE ROLE

Senior Social Media Executive

In this exciting role, your main responsibility will be to own, coordinate and implement the social media content strategy across the business and beyond.

You’ll collaborate with teams throughout the business to ensure the content plan supports our goals, ensuring that content is relevant for use on all consumer-facing channels. You’ll also have a big part to play in influencing others and generating buy-in from the wider sales and marketing teams.

Working closely with PR, Digital and our Contact Centre, you will devise, develop and report on our ongoing social content plan, ensuring that current, past and potential guests are engaged with the Center Parcs brand and become advocates for us amongst their own networks.

You will also work with external agencies, freelancers and influencers, to increase the quality of brand content across our owned channels, delivering relevant and engaging branded content to enhance the guest experience, encourage advocacy, generate bookings and achieve brand objectives.

You will bring a wealth of skills to the role including exceptional digital copywriting skills, a good understanding of data analysis and consumer insights, excellent knowledge of social media channels and experience of developing and implementing social media strategies.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week).  Normal Head Office working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however occasional flexibility may be required.

ABOUT YOU

Essential skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Exceptional digital copywriting skills
  • Good understanding of data analysis and consumer insights. Including experience using social reporting and social listening tools
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media channels as well as their best practices.
  • Previous direct experience in a similar social media role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing and /or a related qualification
  • Experience of developing and implementing social media strategies and building brand awareness.
  • Highly motivated & passionate about social trends
  • Great organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong people skills
  • Dynamic, confident and articulate with a hands-on, can-do approach

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience managing both in-house teams and external freelancers
